Getting started with Vine Helper is very simple. Just like any other browser extension you might currently be using now, Vine Helper only takes a couple of steps to install. Vine Helper is currently available as official release from:

Vine Helper is not being developed for use on Apple devices, and Vine Helper does not officially support iOS or iPadOS at this time. Please note that functionalities are severely limited on Apple devices.

Sometimes, as bugs are found and new features are implemented, updates are pushed out to the live version as quickly as possible. If you are in the habit of keeping your browser opened at all times, the extensions may not update itself as required.
While there is nothing particularly wrong with staying with the version of the extension you have as is, if there are significant bugs, errors, anomalies, and/or features that are broken, it is good to know how to update the extension manually so that you can be up-to-date on the most stable version available.
